SNAPSHOT STORY

Youth co-creation for health: a practical guide was developed for young people and adults committed to strengthening youth participation in health research, programmes and policies. Co-led by youth throughout its development, the guide brings together evidence, practical strategies, open-access resources and examples from around the world. It moves beyond one-off consultation by showing how young people can help shape every stage of a project, while actively addressing power imbalances.

STORYTELLING IMPACT

A resource shaped through participation needed to feel as inclusive, practical and youth-centred as the process behind it. We designed and laid out the full guide, creating a bold, accessible visual system that made complex research, practical guidance, case studies and infographics easier to navigate and use. Photography and graphic elements helped bring young people’s voices and experiences into the publication.

To support the launch, we developed a coordinated dissemination campaign, including campaign messaging, social media content, promotional materials and webinar flyers. Together, the guide and campaign transformed a substantial body of evidence into an engaging, practical resource that supports more meaningful and equitable youth collaboration in health.
