South African charity Community Keepers invests in the wellbeing of learners and their caregivers, by creating supportive school communities where learning and development can prosper. As an NGO, trust is of utmost importance, and they need their annual reports to inspire donor confidence and to reassure potential donors that their investment will be stewarded with precision and professionalism.
When designing their report, we aimed to showcase more than the mere numbers; we wanted to convey the heart and soul of the organisation. It was important to us to represent the children they serve and to showcase and honour their staff. We did so by including warm, human-centric photos, creating staff illustrations and including quotes from affected parties.
As a result, the final product successfully conveyed the measurable data and the very special heartbeat of Community Keepers and the people within the organisation.
